Poetry
Hello! I'm a Canadian poet, actress, singer, and overall creator with an undying curiosity about the world and its people. After one of my forthright poetry videos went viral in 2021, my poetry career was kick-started. I have self-published two books: "Rhymes to Rhetoric" and "F-ing the System" ! Through creative and eye-opening rhyme, I expose inconvenient truths and encourage critical thinking as a means of self-betterment.

BOOKS
Shedding light on the contradictions of today's beliefs and norms, "F-ing the System" by Kayla Henry, suggests new ways of thinking and observing. Inspiring action regardless of the ongoing shifts and conflicts of our world. Poems that dig far below the surface to encourage healthy communication, critical thinking, accountability, community building, and inner peace. Shaking you out of your daily rut, this book will bring you closer to the real world and guide you past the many distractions of modern life.
F-ING the SYSTEM
Spark cognition with more than 50 poems about education, deception and invention.
From the artist behind ‘Parrhesia - Now More Important than Ever’ comes a book packed with blunt poetry, allowing truth and expressionism to converge. During difficult times, we are prone to questioning our beliefs. Confusion and contradiction in the real world can dizzy us down the wrong path, but art just might be the gateway to free expression. Each poem in this collection aims to encourage critical thinking over self-censorship by presenting harsh realities and crucial solutions in the form of accessible rhyme.

Rhymes to Rhetoric
☆☆☆☆☆ 5 out of 5 stars.
A fine example of what poetry can (and should) be.
RHYMES TO RHETORIC by Kayla Henry is a significant creative work in a lovely diminutive frame. For those who are not normally fans of poetry, this presentation will be refreshing because it is what poetry can be – an abstraction of sensible thought and identified emotion – as opposed to the stream-of-consciousness nonsense most contemporary poetry has become. RHYMES TO RHETORIC is simultaneously enlightening and introspective and, as is true of all superlative creations subjected to reviews that attempt to interpret, disparage, or sell, speaks for itself.
